The Pagan Socialist Democratic Caucus affirms the inherent dignity, equality, and worth of every human being, regardless of race, ethnicity, ancestry, national origin, or cultural background.
We believe that racial equality is fundamental to a democratic society in which every person is entitled to equal protection under the law, meaningful participation in public life, and the opportunity to live free from discrimination, prejudice, and racial injustice.
The Pagan Socialist Democratic Caucus recognizes that our nation's strength lies in the diversity of its people. Every racial and ethnic community contributes to the richness of our shared society, and no individual should be judged, excluded, disadvantaged, or denied opportunities because of the color of their skin, their heritage, or the community from which they come.
We affirm that all races are equal in human dignity and deserve equal respect, consideration, and protection. We reject racism, racial supremacy, racial discrimination, and all ideologies that seek to elevate one racial group above another or diminish the rights and humanity of any person.
Our commitment to equality extends beyond words. We support fair and inclusive public policies, equal access to civic participation, nondiscriminatory public services, and efforts to ensure that every individual can contribute to their community without facing racial barriers. We recognize the importance of listening to communities affected by discrimination, acknowledging historical injustices, and pursuing constructive solutions that advance fairness, opportunity, and mutual understanding.
As a caucus rooted in the Pagan community and committed to democratic participation, we recognize that diversity is not a barrier to unity. People of every race, ethnicity, and cultural heritage must have a place in our democratic institutions, our civic conversations, and our collective pursuit of a more just society. No one should be required to abandon their identity or heritage to be welcomed, respected, or heard.
We further affirm that racial inclusion must be practiced within our own organization. The Pagan Socialist Democratic Caucus welcomes individuals of every racial and ethnic background who share our commitment to democratic values, religious freedom, equality, and inclusive public service. We strive to foster an environment in which members are treated fairly, represented respectfully, and empowered to participate fully in the work of the caucus.
